Conversation #1: International Relations, Development, and the Humanitarian Aid Industry

The first conversation, pre-recorded in 2021, examines the colonial vestiges and power imbalances intrinsic within the larger ecosystems of international development, humanitarian aid, international relations, and peace and security. Analyses and critique of the international development and humanitarian aid industries are critical for understanding international child protection and children’s rights efforts. This session brings two scholarly voices and critiques to the center of our discussions.
