The Care and Protection of Children (CPC) Learning Network partnered with the World Bank to address child sexual exploitation and abuse in World Bank operations. The tools below were developed as part of this project, to operationalize guidance in the Environmental and Social Framework and accompanying good practice notes. These materials were created by child protection experts from the CPC Learning Network based on research, evidence, and experience. All tools have been tested in one or more World Bank-financed infrastructure projects. The materials can be adapted to your specific context and project.
This work is a product of the CPC and includes lessons learned while providing support to the project executing agencies of transport projects in Nepal and Bolivia to address risks of child SEA. The projects were financed by the World Bank. The findings, interpretations, and conclusions expressed in this page or resulting from the use of CPC tools do not necessarily reflect the views any of the World Bank, its Boards of Executive Directors, or the governments they represent.
